Crafted from our renowned military-grade, cross-linked polymer material, this tank sets the standard for durability and reliability. With a thickness of at least ¼", it's built to outlast all competitors, standing strong against the toughest conditions. The tank comes complete with black-coated, galvanized steel mounting straps. Plus, with its exclusive low fuel trap design all 46 gallons are usable capacity. We could advertise a larger capacity, but we chose to only market usable capacity to set honest and reasonable expectations for our customers. The Titan XXL tank also features minimal hang down below the bottom of the stock tank (less than 1/2").

For Mercedes and Dodge Sprinter Vans with the 144", 170" and 170" Extended wheelbases with diesel engines.

For use with diesel fuel ONLY.

Will not work with dually applications.

Additional Details

• The TITAN tank is 20 gallons larger at 46 gallons. The stock tank is only 26 gallons.
• Our mid-ship, direct replacement fuel tanks are designed to use your trucks stock/OE sending unit. However, our tanks are compatible with Fleece, AirDog, FASS, etc.
• Fits with the H12 heater system.
• Due to variations in aftermarket and factory upgrade components on Sprinter vans, interference with Titan Tanks may occur in rare cases. Customers should verify that all existing equipment allows for proper installation before purchasing. Tank dimensions are provided in the product images and should be used as a reference when evaluating fitment.

The Truth About Fuel Capacity

Fuel capacities shown for each and every Titan Fuel Tank are not a claim: it is fact, we show the usable capacity for every tank! In fact, the tanks are larger than their usable capacity. Usable fuel capacity is the portion of the tank that can safely hold fuel and allows the fuel to be picked up by the sending unit. For example, our 7020217 tank for the 2017+ Ford Crew Cab, Short Bed trucks is marketed as a 55 gallon tank. Could it hold more? Yes! Another 5 gallons of capacity exists in the tank, but that capacity is not usable. This 5 gallon area above the filler neck is for expansion/vapor headspace to dissipate the pressure changes in the tank due to temperature and elevation changes. We choose to not mislead our customers and market only the usable capacity, 55 gallons.
